Simple Iodine Test

2 - A 24 hour loading test. This is a saturation test where you take 50mg of Iodoral and then measure how much of it shows up in your urine over 24 hours. The more you excrete, the less iodine your body needs. The results are then reported as a percent saturation. Normal is 90% saturated (i.e. 90% of the original dose was not needed by the body and showed up in the urine.) The lower the saturation score the greater your need for iodine supplementation.
