About Peter Kassner

Our President:
Peter C. Kassner, NMD, ND, NMT, LMT, NCBTMB, SET, CI, BTP, is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and a licensed massage therapist #54 AL. He holds two degrees in Naturopathy and many additional specialized certifications.

Peter has over 4500+ hours of clinical education, with clinical field experience since 1996, and personal involvement in the natural health field since 1989.

Personally, Peter is a survivor of chronic fatigue and severe environmental, chemical sensitivities, and depression that nearly took his life at the age of seventeen. It was Naturopathy that saved his life and has now restored him to an active and fulfilling life. He now has more energy than he ever had as a child and is passing the gift of health on to others. His motto for his patients is by example, "If I can recover, so can you."

· Naturopathic Doctor (ND) – Graduate of the United States School of Naturopathy and Allied Sciences November 10^th, 2000.

· Certified Bowen Therapy Practitioner & Assistant Teacher - 2005

· Cranial Integration^®, Craniosacral Therapy & Somatic Cranial Work – The Sutherland Approach (bio-dynamic and osseous models) 177 hours. Cranial Integration^®is the synergistic application of several cranial therapeutic modalities, including Cranial Osteopathy, Craniosacral Therapy, Sacral Occipital Technique, Cranial Kinesiology^®, and Somatic Cranial Work. Cranial Integration^®emphasizes function of the craniosacral system and its correlation to the myofascial, neuromuscular, autonomic, and meridian systems, as well as cranial/spinal scoliosis decompensation.

· Structural Energetic Therapy – Myofascial release technique, 60 hours. Structural Energetic Therapy is an integrative technique of cranial and myofascial work. Cranial lesion patterns, their link to spinal scoliosis decompensation and objective diagnosis are emphasized in the process of developing corrective protocols that allow normalization of posture. The myofascial techniques are systematic and similar to Rolfing with a lighter application of touch that supports the progressive “unwinding” reorganization of the torsion collapse. www.structuralenergetictherapy.com

· Integrated Neuromuscular Re-Education - 90 hours

Integrated Neuromuscular Re-Education teaches palpatory sensitivity through the practice of basic Jin Shin Do. Traditional therapy techniques of Neuromuscular Therapy are related to dysfunction of the neuromuscular system, development of trigger points, and their relation to the myofascial, autonomic, and craniosacral systems.

· Manual Lymphatic Drainage certified - 1996

· Alabama School of Massage Therapy – 620 hour certification. Graduated with honors 1996.

· Certified Computerized Electro-Dermal Stress Assessment Technician - 2000
